No-Knit; No Crochet Woven Scarf
Can't Knit or Crochet but Love the New Fancy Scarves? Weave it!
by Betty Donohue
|
 |
List of Materials:
- Mesh fabric
- Fancy yarn: Fun fur of your choice
- Needle with large eye (plastic craft needle)
|
Instructions:
Cut Mesh fabric to desired scarf length.
Thread fancy yarn on needle.
Weave through mesh fabric leaving 8" of yarn on either end. This will become the scarf fringe.
Continue weaving fabric until you're satisfied with the width - approximately 5" - 8".
Knot every 2-3 strands of yarn on each end of scarf. This will prevent the yarn from pulling through, then overcast sides to finish.
